Amen! It's like the media think everyone forgets what Christmas is - for some, a religious holiday; for others, a shopping holiday; for more others, nothing at all; for still others, a bittersweet period - and they can't spare any expense trying to pore over every last possible detail, theory, and crackpot idea that ever existed on the subject.

Or maybe they're still convinced that there's a new moral fiber running through the country these days. Which there isn't. Ah well, I see my willing disconnection from major media continues to serve me well.
