Why don't we juxtapose all the headlines from Black Friday like better sales at Wally World with more substantive headlines, such as continuing investigations in DC from Fitz and guilty pleas from fat white GOPers.

Who really cares if fat rich white people in Bentonville, Ark. get richer off of poor white people in small towns? I'd rather like to know if my congressman is corrupt and made to pay for it.

i could not care less about anything, anyone,

the day seems endless, cessation of yesterday-today-tomorrow
only light and dark changes and no beginning or conclusion
no 24 hour cycle, hours - what are those?

there it is again, i don't care, i don't care what happens to me,
i don't care if people still exist
i don't care if i'm the only person around
i don't care that other people do care
but i care just enough to know it's not normal
sometimes, i care more about the dog back home i rarely see than most people
so childish and simple yes
the dog it makes me happy

no doubt i'm lonely and my mind wanders

or Freud is haunting me
or my conscience is telling me the truth about reality

still a WASPy state as always, i don't believe all the minorities turned out for Election Day as much as the homophobic white Evangelicans. if so, perhaps the Prop 2 wouldn't have passed almost as high as it did, if at all. Some Texans are dumb enough that they don't really think before they vote, they just vote b/c they feel they have to, doing their civic duty to make sure that un-straight people are discriminated by law. i'm such a world away from all the rednecks, being here in Florida where it's a melting pot of cultures and nationalities and colors and orientations and whoknowswhat. Texas to some extent, but someone needs to put a big stirring stick in the middle of Texas and mix up that gene pool just a little bit.
