Thought I'd get in an update before I leave in the morning for Cape Cod. Looking forward to 7 days away from everything, mainly the electronic devices around which my life and job revolve, namely the computer and cell phone. Well you never can really escape them unless you go to the frontier but at least they won't be staring me in the face or ringing at my face constantly.

An article about my good friend back home, NanC Mark, was in the Abilene Reporter-News. She is a horse aficionado to say the least. A brief excerpt below:

BROOKESMITH - NanC Mark is savvy when it comes to horses.
But she also noticed while attending horse training clinics that most of the teachers are men, and most of the students are women.
So Mark, who teaches a method developed by renowned horseman Pat Parelli that emphasizes gentle training techniques, launched her Cowgirl Savvy clinics.
''Because the two genders don't always speak the same language - something about Venus and Mars - the clinics can be intimidating and frustrating to the horsewomen in attendance,'' Mark said.
That's where she comes in. While men are welcome, the horsewomen feel more at ease at her clinics.

As of today, and as a few blogs are reporting, Texas Senator John Cornyn is one of 12 Senators who won't sign a Senate resolution condemning the use of lynching way back when. John Kerry eloquently said that it says something when you don't have 100 Senators signing it. Ahh but of course. And naturally most if not all are white Southern Republicans.

MJ got off, he beat it, he moonwalked right out of the courthouse yesterday, Monday 13 June 05. Who could have believed the mother's testimony? Oh I'm sorry, that's the loud brazen cuntry voice of Nancy Grace. Hope that bitch shuts up now.
We were interested moreso because Raf worked for MJ and 'associates' in 2001 so he has a sliiiight connection and personal interest. I'm glad it's over so that CNN can get back to real news.

It burned down completely this morning, probably a lightning strike, just saw it from the road last nite with all its lights on, sad that I never went once, now just another regret of something I didn't do, a place that can be rebuilt but never will be the same...
