Would-be iPod owners beware - Apple discussion boards are aflame with recent owners rightly bitching about the screens scratching way too easy. The story is getting picked up all over.
People desperate to save the virgin look of their Nano is prompting them to use iCondoms, Saran warp, transparent vinyl and other inventive tricks to keep them pristine.
It seems that when you mar the screen with enough scratches, it renders it useful for viewing photos.
Let's hope Apple learns and alters the materials it uses before too many of them end up in the marketplace.
