It has been saddening of late to read articles from the Brownwood Bulletin (the paper back home) about the number of people arrested for methamphetamine (meth, speed, ice, crystal, all its incarnations) - there just isn't enough going on for young ppl back home and so they turn to meth for fun and to make money - such a power drug - weed and coke are harmless compared to meth's influence. I even personally knew at least one of the recently arrested ppl - small world.
I can't help but feel personally disheartended when I read the news about it all.
